Our salmon are harvested using the most humane and biologically secure methods available. Using a seine net, the fish are crowded in preparation for loading onto the harvest vessel. Stress is minimized and oxygen levels and behaviour are closely monitored. The fish are loaded aboard the harvest vessel where they are stunned and bled. All blood water is retained for treatment and disposal at the processing facility. The salmon are then transported in slush ice to the processing plant.

At the processing facility, the fresh salmon are cleaned, graded for quality and size and packaged in preparation for transport to market. Our farmed salmon are sold fresh to markets throughout North America and the Pacific Rim. Mainstream Canada customers generally receive our salmon within 48 hours of harvest.
